Project for a nonprofit corporation, Empowerment Society, that promotes global sustainable development and Natural Capitalism. The original website was supposed to be visually stunning, informative, and educational, the primary purpose being to register membership and donations. Infrastructure was to be put in place to allow virtual conferencing so many could work together on global community projects. Member data was to be stored so that our staff could track donation amounts and sync with Quickbooks accounting. Paypal was used for money collection and processing. However, the webmaster was very new and took a long time to create a chaotic website that serves no ones purpose. I need a company that can correct what he began and build upon it. I will also need a company that can host this website and become its webmaster. I have a word document with pages of ideas, but I need someone who has experience in creating a functional website out of it.Additional Project Description:
01/29/2005 at 15:35 EST:In addition to the educational and advisor role, the website must be able to add products for sale, products such as environmetally friendly, non-toxic home cleaning products and cosmetics, and integrate with partner manufacturers to sell their similar products.

The quoted price includes a content management system with a “Word-like” editor, so you are not dependant on the webmaster for minor changes. You can manage publications, news letters etc... PayPal integration into the system is straight forward, so the secretary too can add a "donate now" button... and interoperability with QuickBooks no problem... all said with the right level of access that is. The site is also highly secure (MD5 Military spec encryption) so you don't have problems from parties who might not support your cause...
We'll discuss including unlimited space and traffic for hosting this domain as we progress to the next level.
