I am seeking an experience Adobe Cold Fusion ENTERPRISE level software developer to assist me in trouble shooting and coding my CF application. My software application www.queuemobile.com is a virtual queue management software that is cloud based, runs on a Windows server with MSSQL 2008.
The application enables colleges to assign students to 8 different virtual waiting lines or queues. When a student is entered into a queue/line they get a text messages telling them what position they are in the queue and what queue they are in, i.e. "You are 13 in the Financial aid queue". Students can be assigned to one queue at the time. The application supports up to 8 queues, i.e. Financial Aid, Records, Admissions, etc. Once a student is in a queue an d they approach the 1st position, the department staff can click the Serve button next to the student's name in that queue to send a text messages summoning the student they are next to be seen. i.e. You are next to be see by the Admissions director, please come to the admissions counter". When the Serve button is pressed again the student is removed form the queue. Each queue will have multiple students in the queue.
Each staff member shares the same login to put students in the queue and to serve the students. Up to 9 people can be logged into the queue to serve the students.
The problem is when I get over 40 students in the application the application slows down dramatically taking between 30 secs to over 1 minute to refresh per student entered or served. I need to server well over a 100 at a time across all queues. Way to long.
The server resources are. Processor AMD Opteron™ 4274 Speed 8 Cores x 2.5 GHz
(3.5 Turbo Core) RAM 16 GB DDR3 ECC
I need an experience CF developer that has worked with high load capacility CF application to trouble shoot my application and suggest code fixes.
