I need to create interesting articles around products and service used in the engineering industry. We have clients with engineering products and services, that are interesting to a small segment of people.
Initially I'II need 5 to 10 articles a month that will appeal and be interesting to the everyday business person, these article do need to be combined with the engineering product or service. Here are a few sample articles where we have linked engineering products/services to a more interesting news, project or application. These are the kind of articles we are looking for.
http://www.engnetglobal.com/showcase/product.aspx/2776 - This article is talking about PLC's, but uses a huge Gold mine to make it interesting
http://www.engnetglobal.com/showcase/product.aspx/2777 - this article is talking about high pressure testing, but uses a scuba tank explosion to make it interesting.
http://www.engnetglobal.com/showcase/product.aspx/2673 - this article is talking about energy saving in desalination, but is promoting filters.
The articles could be as short as 150 words but some may need to be as long as 500 words, depending on what is needed to make it a complete article. We also need a interesting/eye-catching picture with each article.
Telling a story about 'high pressure testing' is only relevant to a very small amount of people, but a story about a scuba tank explosion is very interesting.
We will give you a product or service like 'automation' OR 'high pressure valves' OR 'precision measurement' OR 'Diesel engine turbochargers' and ask you find and interesting angle and create an interesting article.
With these articles I don't want them too techy. I want them to be easy enjoyable reading, rather than a ton of technical information.
I'm really looking for PLC's (programmable logic controllers) in interesting projects, like well know data centers, or submarines or helicopters or world's largest excavator or PLC's used in world's fastest train.
And then a few details on the PLC in the project or basically a description of how they are used.
Interesting articles around extraordinary uses of engineering products and services.
