This is a one time project to transcribe approximately 2 hours of the meeting in the video posted here:
The video loads very slowly on that Web site. I have a .flv file of the video hosted on DropBox that I can provide so that you can watch the video in a desktop media player instead of on the Web page. The file is about 3.6GB.
The task is to transcribe from time stamp 0:30:00 to 1:15:00 and also 1:20:00 to 2:26:00. These are the "public comments" portions of the meeting. Each individual will speak for about 2 minutes for a total of just under 2 hours of speeches.
I have already completed from 0:05:00 to 0:30:00 - see attachment. The remainder of the transcript should follow the same format.
[Everything the speaker says]
[Time stamp when the speaker finishes]
There are a lot of individuals' names, school names, and neighborhoods that may be unfamiliar to the transcriber - it is not necessary to research the correct spellings. Just spell them the best you can, I will recognize the names and correct them as needed when I read the transcript.
I would like work to begin immediately and be completed within 24 hours. It may take an hour or two to download the video and then 3 to 5 hours to actually transcribe the sections specified.
