Do you have what it takes to write a stellar resume for a client? We are looking for writers who can follow our resume format consistently on a daily basis (read: no typographical, grammatical or syntax errors, and well constructed sentences), develop professional job descriptions and a professional summary, and submit work early or on time on a daily basis.
Shortlisted writers will be trained for a week (5 days) online. In your PM, write a summary of your qualifications using 4 to 5 sentences. Include the following elements:
- 3 words that describe yourself professionally
- 3 words that describe yourself personally
- do not use any pronouns related to your gender (he, she, him, her, his, hers)
Writers who pass the week-long training will start at 1 resume per day, from Monday to Friday, to be submitted at midnight Central Standard Time (CST).
Your workload will increase progressively to 2 resumes per day, etc based on your ability to meet deadlines and submit client-ready resumes free from errors. At this stage there will be 2 deadlines: midnight CST and noon CST. I am also looking to hire a writer that is interested in being my on the fly writer- i.e when I have rush projects that come in- I will send them to you for completion asap. That writer will be paid a flat rate of $25 per day. I would require you to be available to me from 8am- 6pm CST (central standard time) M-F. This would be up to 4 resumes per day if need be- obviously due THAT day ( in US time). So in your response to me, let me know whether you are interested in the 2 per day writing staff or the On the fly writing staff.
Consistent failure to meet deadlines or quality reviews will not be tolerated, so before you make this bid, think carefully before committing to the work. Our team consists of Filipino resume writers from all over the Philippines. We've heard just about every excuse in the book, so if your only motivation for bidding is the money involved (without regard for our requirements), you can stop reading; we'd prefer that you continue your search elsewhere.
The rate is fair, and we pay writers via PayPal weekly, so I think it is only reasonable for us to expect you to complete the job according to our specifications. It's a great job for the right person with the discipline and the writing skills to match, and we stand by that.
Writers must be readily available via Yahoo Messenger during the assigned work week. They must also have access to a computer with a reliable Internet connection and source of power, as well as above average skills in Microsoft Word and Internet research. (You may find that amusing, but we are saying it with a straight face.) Knowledge of converting PDF files to text would be a plus, but not required. Knowledge of job descriptions is a plus also.
Pay is $5 per resume with the ability to earn $20-25 per day. We pay weekly via paypal.
We expect writers to be resourceful enough to meet the deadlines even in the face of power failures, natural calamities or disasters, to be professional enough not disappear off the face of the earth (and re-emerge days later asking if you still have a job), and to be considerate enough to keep us reasonably informed --- meaning: not to wait till the last minute --- about family emergencies (such as deaths or illnesses in the immediate family), vacations, and other legitimate reasons why you are not available on certain days. (Didn't I say we've heard every excuse before?) Also- if you are pregnant or just had a baby, travel with your work, have frequent workplace meetings, conferences and parties- no need apply. Again, I am only looking for those interested in a great paying job that is VERY long term. Please don't waste my time or yours. I will be hiring several writers asap.
