Hi,
I am interested to work with you on medical transcription projects. I am a German native speaker and have worked in the UK in biomedical research for quite some time before turning to technical translations. This summer I moved back from the UK to live in Germany. I write (and speak) UK
English to native level. Writing biomedical texts such as scientific publications and proofing those of my students (mainly postgraduate theses, i.e. ENG to ENG proofing) was a major part of my research job in the UK. Obviously I am familiar with UK and other English accents.
I now work as a
freelancer translating and proofing biomedical and most other subjects (including GER to ENG projects). So far I have worked on only one big transcription project but I enjoyed this very much and would like to do more work of this kind. I would ask for $30 per hour audio transcription and $10 per
hour transcript proofing.
I have pasted a brief CV below. Hope to hear from you. Best regards,
Jorg
