The idea is to be able to export an excel file from our DB and automatically be able to see graphs that compare revenue in each pay period between years. I would like to add some additional graphs and tables that show what services were used by the photographers to make up that revenue such as number of photographers that paid for "FB Like button" "logo on home screen" etc. in that pay period. Currently, to make the spread sheet, we are following the instructions below. If there is a way to do it with one spreadsheet instead of two, that would be even better.
FILES ATTACHED IN DETAILED DESCRIPTION
1. Log in and press "Export to Excel" button
2. Save 'exported_data_....xls' file and open it.
3. Set cursor to A2 cell and press Ctrl+Shift+End. It will select all the data except the first header row. Press Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Open [LAPP Transactions Charted [login to view URL]][1] file, Sheet1 (where data is located)
5. Set cursor to A2 cell and press Ctrl+V to paste all the data.
6. Open Sheet5 (where chart is located), right click bottom of the chart and select 'Refresh Data'.
(Spread sheets attached)

This is how pay periods work: It should be from the last day of the month to the 13th (first) and the 14th to the day before the last day of the month (second).
This is why Pay Periods work this way (note from my developer): Because on every pay date you did not want to take THAT date into account - there could be still an ongoing event - and it would be billed less in this case. So at 2am on 15th, all events which have ended on 14th (i.e. with event date being 13th or less) will be billed.
SO... as I understand it, even though payperiods overlap the previous month (first) and following month (second) by one day, I would like to show it on the graph as first and second payperiod of each month so that it is easy to read.
New tables/graphics should include the following:
1) revenue from "fb like button", "logo on home screen", etc for each pay period. Column L-R
2) Number of new users registering per pay period?
3) Number of active users per pay period?
4) Number of total users per pay period?
5) Number of events at 10 cent per upload, $30 per event, unlimited per pay period
6) Revenue from 10 cent per upload, $30 per event, unlimited per pay period
7) A way to compare same pay period in different years. For example, what was total revenue for the first pay period in June this year compared to the first pay period in June from last year. We would want this done for all metrics.
Thanks!
Brian
