Logo Data Mining

This will be a short term test for a long term project. Consider it an interview. We will provide a list of websites and we would like for you to return a list of logos from the website. Some logos will require re-sizing, while others are embedded in flash and will need to be saved using screen capture and then edited in a graphics program to crop out the image beyond the logo. The task is simple I will provide a list of 500 websites in an excel spreadsheet with the following columns: URL FileName Notes URL will be the address where you will search for the logo, FileName is what you will name the file once it is found, and Notes will only be used if you are unable to capture the logo or the website is down (in which case you simply need to write skip as a value and move to the next row). Some Logos will need to be re-sized, but done in proper ratios so that the logo is not skewed when re-sized. We would like the excel file returned along with the logo files by zip or ftp. Some logos will take a few seconds to capture while other will take a few minutes. On average it will take 1 minute for 1 logo. If you are able to do this well in a cost effective manner we have +10,000 (and growing) websites that we need this for.
