I wish to modify an existing spreadsheet to send an email when a cell reaches a certain value. I also would like to dismiss the value when data is entered into the following cell.
I found an example/tutorial online at 'http://www.rondebruin.nl/win/s1/outlook/bmail9.htm', but I am not skilled enough to apply this information to my existing document.
I am unsure of how much information to include in this initial request.
Tab: DWG Orders
Column F 'Date Ordered'
Column G 'Today'
Column H 'Days Pending'
Column I 'Date Received'
When today's date reaches 5 business days from the Date Ordered, I would like an email sent to a specific address. I would also like to void this action when data is entered into the Date Received cell. I suppose we could get sassy and have the body of the email 'list' the applicable row data (I.E. 113T1958-8 LWG Boeing KUTD # 26911 10/17/13 02/17/14 88) or whatever.
I realize this is embarrassingly lowbrow stuff, but that is where I am.
