Highly focused and productive individual to undertake a research task.
The successful applicant will be supplied with a list of (less than or up to) 1500 news publications throughout Australia. I need the successful applicant to contact each of these publications (or use online resources provided by them) to find out the Australian suburbs that each publication covers. From this point, each suburb should be converted to a postcode.
The postcodes that the publication covers should be then appended to the publications entry in the excel spreadsheet that will be provided (in one cell, separated by commas). If a postcode covers two suburbs, it should only be included once.
Essentially, the applicant will find out which postcodes each publication covers and append them to an excel spreadsheet.
The easiest way to do this would be to make the request through the advertising departments of each organistion, i.e. which regions does their advertising cover.
The applicant is able to use any existing databases etc to complete the job, provided that the results are accurate. Random entries will be double checked by my team upon completion of each section to ensure accuracy of results.
Due to this job requiring calls to Australian media offices, the applicant should either be based in Australia or have ability to call Australia and converse in English with companies.
Will pay upon completion of milestones defined as “250 entries completed” as a proportion of the total agreed amount for the job.
I.E. If there is 1500 entries and the agreed fee is $50 then the applicant will be paid $50/(1500/250) = $8.35 per each 250 entries completed.
(fee is for demonstration of milestone only).
