We want to know what overseas study opportunities are offered to Australian university students through their institution - and we would love for you to help us find out!
The opportunities we want to identify are things like student exchange programs, study tours, volunteering opportunities, internships overseas etc. We are specifically looking opportunities for Australian students to travel and study OUTSIDE Australia, NOT opportunities IN Australia for international students.
We would like you to conduct an audit of all 39 Australian universities, by web searching and web scraping, to find out what they currently do in this area. We will need the final audit completed no later than Friday 28th June (preferably sooner).
What we need are lists of:
1. All of the academic departments within the 39 Australian universities (onshore in Australia only - not offshore campuses)
2. A list of all the student exchange partners of the 39 Australian universities
3. A list of the student exchange websites for the 39 universities
4. A list of all the overseas short term program opportunities open to Australian students to travel overseas, as offered by their university
To assist you with your bid, we have attached some extra information including:
a. A detailed project description: 'Web Search and Web Scrape Project'
b. A few lines from a similar previous 'audit' of overseas experiences
c. The main '2013 Audit TO COMPLETE' document
We've also got some additional resources (e.g. the full previous audit, information about which faculties are known to offer overseas study opportunities) which we will share exclusively with the winning bidder.
We will arrange a full briefing, via Skype, with the winning bidder prior to work commencing.
Great communication skills and a good level of English are required for this project. We will set up a number of milestones to make sure you are fairly remunerated for work completed.
Thanks and we look forward to receiving your bid. We value your time and so will absolutely try to respond to everyone personally.
