I'm looking to hire someone who can speak good English and feel comfortable calling a list of suppliers who offer Drop Shipping based in the USA. I have the list of 100 suppliers complied already on a spreadsheet with their website links and also their telephone numbers from their web page.
I have created a retail website that sells the products shipped directly from the suppliers. When customers place the order on my site, the suppliers would ship out the product on my behalf to the customers. The suppliers are also called Drop Shippers(or wholesalers) and I would need a person to call them and ask them if they would allow us to sell their products on my website.
Each call to the suppliers should take around 3 minutes and a template of what to say would be provided. You will usually see these results when calling the suppliers:
1. Some suppliers will be happy to allow my website to sell their products. In this case, you will provide my email address to this person in charge and ask him/her to send me the forms/docs or whatever is required to set this up. As long as I receive what are necessary from the suppliers to set them up, you wont need to follow up from this point. Just make a note on my spreadsheet saying that I should receive an email and the contact person who you spoke to.
2. Some suppliers may push back and say they are no longer seeking retailers. In this case, please ask for when they will be expecting to accept retailers again and put a note on the spreadsheet with the name of the person you spoke to.
3. There are other cases in which nobody picked up the phone and you left a voice message etc. Or someone may ask you to send an email instead. Others may ask you to call again at the right time. DO NOT JUST DISGARD TEHM. make a comment on the spreadsheet with as much info as you can. Sometimes you may be asked to send an email to someone who you could not reach on the phone - I will provide you an email template for that as well.
While I understand not all suppliers would say yes, I will be able to see whether this person has actually called and done what are required to do. I expect someone honest to do this job and a good job done would lead to more projects with similar tasks going forward.
Note: You are not selling anything. We want to sell their products on our website - so there is no selling involved.
You could be based in the USA or elsewhere but keep in mind that these suppliers are almost all based in USA so if ou are based in other locations, you will have to call during the US working hours. You will need to have internet access. Have Excel. Your English must be excellent and I will have to talk to the you first to see how good you are.
If you have done this before for clients, that is of course a big plus, but experience is not needed. However, you must be comfortable talking to people on the phone in English.
Project needs to be completed within 5 days of me hiring you. You will be making phone calls, sending emails if needed and entering comments on the spreadsheet
Someone who is honest, already has a good reputation (good rating) and looking to develop a long term relationship with me as I will have more projects with similar task

I estimate 7 hours of work and I am going to pay on a hourly basis. Each call would average 3 mins and to make 100 calls, you would need 300 mins (5 hours). The 2 extra hours are needed putting notes on the spreadsheet, sending emails when asked to do so and making follow up calls when the right person in charge was not there on the first call etc.
