Project Description:
For each address on spreadsheet, we need to find and enter the latitude and the longitude from a website.
These coordinates will be used to locate an address on a map.
Here's how to find the latitude and longitude for each address (see the attached file geocoding-example.jpg for a screenshot of the process):
5a) Go to http://www.dyngeometry.com/web/address.aspx (See attached picture of screenshot and instructions)
5b) Enter the address of the facility from excel spreadsheet into website and press "submit"
5c) The latitude and longitude will be displayed. Copy the latitude into the "lat" column of the spreadsheet, and the longitude into the "lng" column. Be sure to INCLUDE THE MINUS SIGN IN THE FRONT OF THE NUMBER IF THERE IS ONE.
We have 2085 entries. This must be done accurately therefore we will check the work. This is step one of a multi level project. I will give spreadsheet to winning bidder. Thanks
