Project Description:
This is a very simple project: Rename a bunch of PDFs. Project (40 hours of work) must be completed in one week or less. I have amassed a collection of scholarly articles which must be renamed to facilitate their use in research for a book.
Details: Articles (PDFs) are sorted in folders by year. Start with one folder. Open a PDF, note the authors' last names and the journal in which the article was published. Rename the file with the last names of the authors, the journal of publication, and year. Put PDF in another folder. Repeat. When you've finished one year, move on to the next. I have more specific instructions for you if you take the job but this is exactly what you'll be doing.
There are a lot of files. If we cannot process all of the files in 40 hours I will extend the job (and pay) or create a new job so we can continue the work.
Requires: Dropbox (free from Dropbox.com), a PDF reader.
