Project Description:
I need to use excel ( or a custom written program) to generate road distance from one city to many, within USA using google maps as the base calculator. The use of this program is for my company to look up rates. We need to match the distance provided by our dispatch software which uses Google maps. The requirement for the software is to be able to export information to Excel ( 2007) to enable printing to PDF etc.
It would need to search via: Suburb./City/Street/Postcode. One to many. Selections: Fastest, shortest, avoid tolls.
If you cannot write a custom program, then Excel would be the perfect choice as we already have a lot of information in Excel relating to suburbs.
example:
11111 to 22222 is 50 mile drive that usually take 2 hours and price is therefore $220
this is data we would need to find and get into excel or program
