Project Description:
This work needs to be completed in a two step process to complete this project:
Step 1:
I need to scrape (harvest) Yellow Pages for the search term: "Painting Contractors" for every state in the U.S and export it to excel.
Here are examples of search results:
Texas: 7370 search results.
Missouri: 2104 search results
Kansas: 526 search results
Florida: 8461 search results
California: 11654 search results.
As you can see, these five (5) states have roughly 29,000 search results. I need to have this done for EVERY state. So there should be roughly 200,000-300,000 results.
Here are the fields I need:
Company name
Address
City
State
Phone Number
Company Fax: (if provided)
Website (if provided)
Email (if provided)
Step 2:
I need to format the excel sheet so that we can list the columns/rows by city and state. Example, if I want to pick only painters in Missouri, I should just have to click on state, and MO for the drop down. Then within MO, I should be able to pick a specific city. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED IMAGE as a reference.
NOTES: I know there are a lot of harvesting and scraping tools out there that will extract the data from Yellow Book with ease. However, I don't have the time right now to do it and I am not good enough in excel to to format it the way we need it.
Please bid on time it will take you, cost you require, and add a note whether you've have harvested or scraped before. I tried posting this project early last week but the person I was awarding the project only have 15,000 results which isn't nearly enough.
This project should have 200K - 300K results in excel that can be broken down by state and city.
