For my dissertation I need someone to use SPSS to pull information in from SurveyMonkey and I need the following data analysis:
Q1 - A chi-square goodness of fit: to test the null hypothesis of equal proportions of school heads responding in each of the five categories of applicant quality.
Q1a - Calculate a mean quality score for each of five geographic regions; compute an ANOVA to test whether the means come from the same population. To identify patterns of differences in the results, a series of pairwise comparisons or 'a posteriori' contrast analysis needs to be conducted using a Bonferroni correction.
Q2 - For each of 21 items, a 5-point likert scale needs numeric values. A chi-square goodness of fit test needs to be used to test the null hypothesis.
Q2a - A mean quality score for each of the 21 items for each of the five geographic regions needs to be calculated. An ANOVA to test whether the means come from the same population; to test the null hypothesis of equal proportions of school heads responding in each of the five categories of applicant quality.
Q3 - Similar analysis as Q2
Q4 - For each of the 21 items, five choices are given and respondents chose the BEST response. All choices need to be summarized and ranked according to the raw number of responses and the % of responses. Then the data needs to be further summarized by grouping together all the 21 items that have each of the five choices as the modal answer for "best" response.
Further sorting by demographic data: years as a school head and number of principals hired in the past three years.
The process of collecting data will close this week and then I would like results back within a five day period.
