Looking to have a database created for my sales staff. They are each commissioned based and I want to be able to keep track of their different sales commissions based on a few things. Each sales person gets paid a percentage (varies) of the gross revunue earned on that particular deal. Sometimes the commission is shared between two sales people and they will split the commission percentage. Also, the company keeps a fixed dollar amount (can also vary) of the gross commission.
The idea is to run reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to see how much each sales person has earned. Report should have fields such as Sales Person Name, Client Name, Date Deal Closed, Gross Commission, Gross Fees Deducted, Commission Percentage Split, Net Fees Deducted and Total Commission Earned (that will be the calculated field).
Would also like the ability to import this data from an Excel spreadsheet. Would also be nice if I can store this file on my Sharepoint Server Space (Office 365), but not required.
