Ideally the client would be happy to allow EVEEC to retain the source code on the completion of the project for future development.
EVEEC is happy to provide hosting, currently the preferred provider is Dreamhost however EVEEC would be open to recommendations.
The server side of the application must be able to communicate with the client and return relevant data at the clients request. On completion of a task the server must accept data from the client (in the form of DB data and and 3 image files (signature file and photo), add it to the database and then create a report, which is then emailed to the users email address in pdf form. The report is also stored on the server for data retention, ideally the application will be built to run on linux however EVEEC is open to suggestions. EVEEC has all the data/fields that will need to be in the database however design will be left up to the bidder. Use of BSD/Open Source libraries is also ok. Use of any Open Source database is ok as long as data entry is not difficult.
Application will be identical for both devices, application requires user authentication in the form of a login screen, the ability to create a new account is also a requirement. The rest of the application is in the form of various pages that accept data from the user and error check before proceeding. Some fields on each page will be populated with data from the server database, some fields will need basic computations to be performed by the application (all formulas will be provided). Roughly there will be 75 individual form pages total (form designs etc will be provided). Once the data has been entered and verified the user will be asked to take a photo, following this they will then have to enter two signatures (by drawing it on the touch screen). Once this is completed the client will then upload all the required data to the server.The ability to add and remove forms simply would be ideal however is not a requirement. Again the use of BSD/Open Source libraries is ok.
