Project Description:
I have a simple electromechanical device which is custom in design but is intended to include all standardized parts. This job includes helping me to determine the optimal 12volt electric motor, battery, control switch and lead screw. This is for operating a lead screw mechanism to push up 400 lbs. It can be driven by the electric motor itself or with it attached with a gearbox. The challenge is to determine the needed torque and identify a low cost electric motor or/with gearbox 3cm or less in height. Once the parts are identified they must be sourced from at least two reputable suppliers for each part. All notes, calculations, instructions and sketches must be provided to me.
