Circuit to play sound file when box opens
$250-750 USD
Paid on delivery
I have a wooden chest and want a sound file to play when the box lid is opens.
Currently I am thinking of using a reed switch to determine when the box is open. When the box is open I wish a onboard speaker to play a sound file. This sound file is 10 secs long, 168 KB in size with bit rate 128kbps. I would like the circuit to be powered by a 9v battery, 1-4 AA or 1-4 AAA batteries. I would like a volume switch as well as an off/on switch.
The sound file is static and therefore even on loss of power should retain the sound file. I would like a plastic housing that hides the circuit but not the controls away but this is only a extra.
I have found a few micro controllers which can do similar things although they miss one desired parameter (such as battery or switch). Welcome to use and adapt one of these or make from scratch.
I will need a total of 2-4 of these made. Budget is flexible.

Hi Rdxftw, I have a current design they I developed for someone else that uses 500KB of non volatile memory that plays into a small audio amplifier.
I have worked on micro controller based projects, hobby project circuits. I can make this product.
