SMS Alert (2 way messaging)
The device will need to consist of the following items:
2. GSM Communications
3. 5 analogue inputs
4. 3 Analogue outputs
5. 3 LEDs (1 GREEN 1 RED 1 AMBER)
6. 1 Buzzer
7. The device must have an ability to be updated on specific fields, either by SMS or by port interace.
a. The device should have an internal battery but also be able to be powered by 240V 50Hz power.
b. The LED Amber must indicate power to the device
2. GSM Communications:
a. The device needs to be able to send and receive SMS’s and be able to have a setting to program from which number(s) it may receive an SMS
b. On receipt of Command 1: the device needs to show LED Green
c. On receipt of Command 2: the device needs to show LED Red and give 5 short beeps every 15 minutes
d. On receipt of Command 3: the device needs to show LED Red & Green Flashing and give 5 short beeps every 1 hour
e. On receipt of Command 4: the device needs to show LED red and no signals
f. On receipt of Command 5: the device must allow LED Green to be on permanent and Amber to Flash
g. On receipt of Command 6: the device must Set LED Amber to On for Power On and LED Green Permanently On.
h. On Receipt of Command 7: the device must let all three LED’s FLASH
3. 5 Analogue inputs:
a. On activation of any input the device is to send an SMS to a pre-programmed number indicating it’s Unique ID and the Input that activated the SMS. This is to be sent in a text format for example 0123456789,1
b. When an analogue device has activated a signal LED green & LED Amber must flash
4. UPDATE Commands:
a. The device must be able to be programmed for which number(s) may send it a command (and this may include ALL numbers may send – factory default)
5. Analogue Outputs:
a. On receipt of a command and output port it needs to activate the switch as on or off as per the command. EG: 10,00,1 for command 10,port 0, ON
