A PCB in 2 versions is required, in order to control a 2 wire 12V ( or 24V) DC Motor, that will run shutters and blinds up and down, and also rotate them slowly.
The main PCB will be the MASTER, it will receive the power input, the wall switch input, and the data input ( 2 wire data bus ).
The output will be the 2 wires to the motor.nnThe second version will be a simplified version of the MASTER, called a SLAVE, which will stack on top of the MASTER, and receive the power, and the H-Bridge activation inputs. It will output to the motor as well. More information about this in the attached files.
The condition is that the PCB's should be as simple and small in size as possible, as well as cost effective and able to last continuous use over a number of years. nnThe PCB should be as basic as possible, with a ATM Mega 168 or TinyATM microcontroller, (or similar) and a H-Bridge to run the motor (?L298N)
The PCB's will be controlled through the 2 data wires, connected to a computer through a RS232 to USB connection, and will behave according to the received instructions. ( Up, Down, SlowUp, SlowDown, Stop)nnAlso, the possibility to connect to a simple wall switch (like a light switch ) should be possible in case no computer connection is present.nnPlease let me know if you are interested, and if you understand the conditions of the projects.
