Project Description:
This is more of help on using ANSYS workbench 12.1. I have created two ANSYS project files representing my problem of study. The problem is a cylindrical shaped part consisting of three different bodies. One of these bodies is made up of Piezo material. The problem is symmetric for now. Therefore I modeled only quarter the geometry.

I tried to input the piezo command lines (piezo dielect and stress). However, it does not work (2D layer workbench project) or it works but not properly (3d-quart workbench project).
Tasks:

1) How to input piezo material properties properly? How to align them with the correct directions? How to change polarization if desired? (I have placed some commands under the piezo body as to change element type)

2) How to use the model as an actuator? (Apply electric-volt and receive mechanical-stress/strain) What are the exact additional command lines (I have placed some command lines)?

3)How to use the model as a sensor? (Apply mechanical-stress/strain and receive electric-volt) What are the exact additional command lines?

4) How measure radial stress, shear stress on curved surfaces (r-theta shear stresses)

I am open for suggestions. I prefer use of ANSYS a combination of work bench and command lines. However, I am open to suggestions. This can be done by Ansys APDL.

The model:
A cylindrical composite shaped part. The composite cylinder (part) is made up of more than one body (each is cylindrical). Let's say we have a cylinder made up of different materials each layer is cylindrical shaped. The core layer is made up of steel and it is cylinder with radius=r0. A piezo layer covers this steel core. The piezo layer is a hollow cylinder surrounding the core and has a radius of r=r1 and of course inner radius r0. A third layer that cover the piezo. Again this layer is a hollow cylinder with both the piezo and core filling it. This layer has a radius r2 and of course an inner radius of r1.

The problem:
This is a forced vibration problem. I will be appling different loads and/or volt with different frequencies.
The piezoelectric layer will act as an actuator or sensor.
The cylinder will be fixed at its axis (center). Fixed displacement at axis.

The analysis:
Measure radial stress, shear stress on curved surfaces (r-theta shear stresses)

Although on the surface the project might seem complicated (as it is an on going work) however once you thoroughly review the attached zip files, you will find the following:
The solid models have been already provided.
The APDL command lines "to define piezoelectric elements and their dielect properties also actuator and sensor commands"are added although suppressed
The results are included.

All that is needed is an ANSYS experienced professional to review, suggest, guide and make necessary changes. On the other hand evenif I have not provided all of the above, For a real expert the project is really very simple and easy
