I need help setting up a network that will accomplish the following:
Single cable internet line into the room
Several Windows computers (specify earliest OS possible) connected to the line that will allow each to have individual legitimate IP addresses (hub? router? switch?). The cable provider does support adding additional IP addresses to the main account. If needed a "master computer/server" dedicated to controlling the network is ok.
Users have remote access and visibility only to a computer assigned to them, no visibility or access to other computers on the network (except as necessary to start/stop remote access software without manual intervention)
Critical: Installed clients from third parties on each computer cannot be able to detect that the computer is controlled via remote access when connected to the third party server. No VPNs/proxies can be used since the third party routinely blocks known VPN IP addresses. The processes using the client are low bandwidth.
Minimizing hardware/software cost is obviously desirable, so minimum computer configuration recommendations are needed, and minimal software acquisition costs.
Please provide a fixed price for initial design/recommendations/setup support and an hourly rate for ongoing support after network is successfully running
