Project Description:
We do develop a collaboration platform which users access via a standalone Java swing application.
For that purpose the Java Swing client application regularly presents HTML content to users which in turn Is rendered by standard Java swing components.
Since the latest JavaFX version supports to integrate Java FX components into Java swing applications, we consider the rendering of HTML By Java swing components to be replaced by the JavaFX embedded browser component.
We seek an experienced Java/JavaFx developer to integrate the Java FX embedded browser component into our Java swing application in a two step process:
a) First, to deliver a quick and dirty prototype which demonstrates that using the Java FX embedded browser component is a viable solution to our applications HTML rendering demands.
b) Second, if the JavaFX embedded browser component meets all needs, to integrate it into the Java swing application for production use.
All development has to be executed on one of our remote Windows development PCs. We use Git for version control.
