I need to email a list of patients to confirm their appointments. I get an excel spreadsheet with the patients' names, email addresses, time of their appointments and date of their appointments, among other columns of data.
I would like to generate emails to each individual patient, with a reminder that they have their appointment scheduled on the date and at the time that is indicated in the excel spreadsheet. I attached a sample spreadsheet, and obscured irrelevant fields.
I attach a copy of the email that I send. I would like the prefix (Mr./Ms.), last name, date and time of the appointment to be unique to each recipient, As I mention later, the subject should also contain the individuals' first and last name
I would like to automate the process so that an email to each patient, from the email address that I select is prepared and made ready to send, BUT NOT SENT until I review it and press "send"
The body of the email contains a hyperlink that they can press to acknowledge confirmation of their appointment.
The spreadsheet also contains the gender of the person; I would like to have the gender converted to Ms. for female (f) and Mr. for Male (m), so that the salutation of the letter begins,: Dear Mr. (or Ms.) ...., (person's last name)
I would also like the subject line of the email to read: Appointment Conformation for FirstName LastName.
Ideally, I can generate ALL of the emails on the list with one button, "Send Emails"
I have downloaded and included a code that I saw online on how to do this; i know nothing about code. if it helps, please refer to it, if not, please ignore it.
Finally, the report that I use will change form as it is being developed. I need the product that you develop to be able to allow me to specify which cells are to be used in the email, in case the body or setup of the excel report changes over time.
