Project Description:
I'm currently a self-employed I.T. Engineer who started a small company based in Kilkenny, Ireland after working for years in commercial development environments looking to try a new tact in life.

I'm looking for for a range of energetic, self starter, motivated and obsessive individuals with a creative spark and experience working in either a commercial setting or the games industry in general that wish to branch out and try their skills in a small development studio with a view to creating a company, releasing profitable games and making a decent living.

This role would not be suited to everyone and would require not working to hourly rates or clearly defined budgets but is rather more suited to individuals who find themselves working when they don't need to work, obsessive about finishing projects, always on the brink of whats coming down the line, and a drive to start their own business.

You have got to be multi-skilled and versatile, work across time-zones and be well spoken. Co-ordinate in an AGILE type development environment where your primary contact with other individuals will be through email, social networking and skype/google hang out calls. Reporting to a project manager and keeping tabs on current progress and objectives.

You have got to be focused, contactable, hardworking and dedicated. Answer emails, adhere as much as possible to deadlines.

I am looking to find people to fill a few different roles;

* Marketing, Advertising and P.R. and Sales (2 people)
Understanding of necessary marketing principles, online networking, creating and following leads, CRM, Brand development, Facebook, Twitter
* Programming and Development (3 people)
(C# essential, JavaScript a plus). Experience with Unity3D or other game engine (unreal, cryengine etc). Experience and comfortable in multiple programming environments, MonoDevelop, Visual Studio, Command Shell interaction etc.
AGILE Development and skills in other programming languages (c/c++/lua/html5/xml/php) an advantage
All round Mac, Linux, Windows experience. Comfortable working in different environments. Able to learn quick.
Experience with repositories (ie: git/subversion)
Experience and general understanding of 3D Tools used by artists. 3D Studio MAX, AutoDesk products, Adobe Products, Daz, Poser, Cinema4D etc
* 3D Modelling, Design and Animations (2-3 people)
Experience with 3D Tools, 3D Studio MAX, MotionBuilder, Motion Capture tools
Character design a plus
Creative, think outside the box
* Business
Knowledge of the Gaming industry as a whole and from an indie standpoint
Understanding of Google Store, Apple Store, Steam and other publishing networks
Knowledge of investments, banking, tax related law, angel investors, croud-sourcing.

Initially, the project will start when its key participants have been identified to cover critical roles. It will begin part-time with the ultimate goal to develop one or more games for publishing to the various stores, xbox live or other targeted profitable area's. The team would then see that project through to completion from code development and game assets to internet and PA related activities.
