Project Description:
Shire Wide Youth Services is rebranding to Project Youth, Inc and as such needs to develop a new logo. The logo should meet the following requirements:
• The organisation is not for profit supporting disadvantaged young people and as such the main target for the organisation is young people between the ages of 8-25, particularly 15-25. The logo needs to be contemporary and modern to connect with this audience without being too grungy or too urban.
• The secondary target is the partners with which the organisation works including government, community services, corporate sponsors etc therefore a visual identity which evokes a sense of professionalism and authenticity is required
• The purpose of the organisation is to provide opportunities for young people to determine their own future
• The organisation provides a wide range of services including supported accommodation, court support, street outreach and peer education, mentoring, information and referral, early intervention and education support
• The logo should be bold and simple with clean lines - to enable easy reproduction
• The logo must include the name Project Youth and may include a graphic device which may be able to be used by the organisation as a stand alone branding device
• There should be flexibility to add a tagline / business division name under the logo if required at a later stage
• Once a logo design is agreed it should be provided in horizontal, vertical, reversed out and black and white formats
