Project Description:
I'm creating an RPG for the iPhone, and I need a graphic artist to design some of the backgrounds of battle scenes for me. The game has an orthogonal, 2D world with 2D characters as well. Each background must be 240x100, in PNG format please. The backgrounds will be scaled up by 2.0, so that the pixels will show better, giving it a more classic GBA-style look. For this job I'd like you to create just one background, but if I like it then I'll hire you for more backgrounds.
The background will be a fire dungeon theme. I'll provide you with the dungeon tile set and some of the monsters that will be in the background, so that you'll have a clearer idea of what I would like to see. I will provide these example images and additional details after I accept your bid and we get an NDA signed.
Please do not bid if you don't have a portfolio with game design in it somewhere. Also, I am a college student, on a college budget, so please keep that in mind.
