So looking to combine a few pictures together to make up this tattoo.
I'm looking firstly to have the church redrawn, there is too much detail in this church to be able to be properly tattooed.
So this needs to be redraw, I'd still like there to be some degree of shading, I don't mind if the designer let their creativity be used here, the main thing that has to remain is the shape and features of tower points. So I'd suggest lining out the structure first and the from your own inspiration incorporate any railings or windows as you see fit (hopefully still keeping the style similar, but minimising the detail to be able to be tattooed I'd take your expertise to get this right.
One thing with the church though is to whilst have a front door shown to also have a side door to the back left drawn as a second entrance, with a path leading away from this.
Next then I'd be looking for the dragon to be redrawn, will be pretty much exactly the same but I would like the wings to be redrawn so they are spread wider and appearing more aggessive. Also removing the tree it is purched on, you can do a little bit of redrawing if needed to get dimensions right for this and the tail may need to be repositioned.
Then the church would sit on a mountain (rock surface) with a stone path leading up to the church but being protected by the dragon.
The principle and meaning behind this is the dragon protecting or stopping the path to the church but there is another entrance or always another way to get in.
I've included some images including my first attempt at tracing with a different dragon and the overlap images, but hopefully this will give you an idea on this. The path out the back probably needs to be a bit more defined.
Happy for the sky to be left blank and doesn't need to have the night sky applied.
I'd think this would probably take about 10-13 hours but happy to discuss in your view.
6-8 hours for the church
2-3 hours for the dragon
2 hours for the rocks and path
Would like to see some folio work before deciding on the freelancer.
Think this is a great project to also have a bit of your own freedom with some aspects of the project.
