Project Description:
This project is to provide a front and back cover illustration at 8.5 in width and 11 in height for "The House of Bone and Amber", a fantasy role-playing game supplement based on West African myth and folklore. For those artists unfamiliar with role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons, you can treat this as essentially equivalent to a novel cover illustration, with the same sort of needs- illustration and the lettering of the title.
*Please Note*: The bid for this project should include the sum necessary to purchase /the complete rights to the piece/. As part of this project, all art involved in The House of Bone and Amber will be released into the public domain for other people to use in their own projects. If you are not willing to sell the full rights to the piece, I cannot use it. Your name will remain attached to the piece when I release the file, however.
Artists with cover experience and familiarity with West Africa will be preferred. Topics and rough diagrams for the illustration will be supplied, but I am open to input from the artist. Payment will be tendered in three milestones- sketch approval, rough color, and final approval.
