Hi
I need a logo created in the style of a US college sports team, with the following criteria:
- Final artwork must be presented in vector (ps, eps, ai) format. Not jpg/bmp (etc).
- Bespoke typographic style required.
- The animal on the logo is a roadrunner bird.
- The bird must be heavily characterised, presenting an aggressive, sporty attitude.
- The bird must have a "character" - i.e. his eyes and face must present an attitude.
- The characteristics of the bird must be present in the caricature (long slender tail, spikey hair on back of head, long beak, x-shaped feet)
- The design is limited to four or five solid colours, one of which must be "bare metal".
The logos I have seen which closely match my vision are those of the "Coastal Carolina Chanticleers" and "Temple Owls", and to a lesser extent the "Albany Firebirds". If the finished logo looked similar in style to these I would be happy.
I need a professional illustrator who can create a dynamic logo which gives the impression of power and sporting prowess.
I can provide examples of the characteristics of real roadrunner birds, and I can also provide further information privately.

PS I absolutely do NOT want a copy of the Warner Brothers' Road Runner, not anything that is obviously derived from that character.
