Project Description:
We are looking for someone to illustrate a series of "Foursquare" style badges for our startup.
These badges will have a certain them, and each badge will represent an action completed by the end-user.
In terms of style, the badges should be bright, uncomplicated, and limited to no more than 3 colors per badge. The icons on the badges should be stylized, graphic, and offer a very simple read. Please reference the attached image of Foursquare badges for examples of the sort of work we are looking for.
Some examples of sample badges based on user actions could be:
"User took the stairs instead of the elevator" - Perhaps a simple graphic of stairs?
"User took a walk" - Perhaps a simple graphic of shoes?
"User lost two pounds" - Simple graphic of a scale with the number 2 on it?
"user biked a mile" - a simple graphic of a bike
"User received the"
Etc.
There will be 70 badges to illustrate. We will provide the list of 70 badges.
Please deliver all files in original vector format (AI, EPS).
Please do not only plan on submitting purely derivative work cribbed from free icon resources. We are expecting only original illustrations.
Applicants, please have an excellent grasp of both English and English terminology. Please provide portfolio examples of similar projects, or demonstrate the ability to execute this type of work.
