You have chosen to sponsor your bid up to a maximum amount of .
Existing page to be re-designed - www.jvd.me.uk/how-to-order
We need an experienced and professional web designer to redesign a page
for us, and there will also be on-going similar work for the winning
bidder. It's very important that you show us some examples of your
previous work showing your skills.
As you can see the website has been built to a very high standard and we
need the page to be built at the same high level, so if you feel you do
not have the correct skill set please do not bid as only the best of the
best will be chosen!
You will also need experience in building UK websites so you have a good
understanding of what users in the UK expect from an eCommerce website.
You will need to put a considerable amount of thought into the design,
as the page will explain to the user how to order from our website and
is a vital to converting users.
You will notice the existing page is very basic and only tells the user
the bare minimum about how to order and is vague to say the least! We
need you to make the how to order page show the user how to order in a
clear well laid-out design.
JOB DESCRIPTION - spend some time...
You will need to spend some time taking a look through our website to
get a feel for how we do things first, and grasp how to place an order
ect... It would also be a good idea to place an order or two so you know
just how the process works.
Essentially there are only two different types of product/service we
offer! SUPPLY ONLY and SUPPLIED AND FITTED - So with supply only orders
the user will log-on to the site, customize a door or doors/window and
then add to the shopping cart as with any other eCommerce website. Then
with supplied and fitted orders the user will start off in the same way
by customizing a door, but them instead of finishing normally they will
book a home survey visit for £78, please try it for yourself so you know
what I mean.
So on this page we want to clearly show the user (whether they are
supply only or supplied and fitted), just how easy it is to order from
our website! Keeping the message clear, but also giving enough detail
about what to do and what to expect.
Here is a link to a test page version that we started -
www.jvd.me.uk/how-to-order2, but unfortunately we don't have the skills
here to complete the job. But this may give you some inspiration non the
less. The page should not be based on the, it is just to give you some
idea of where we are going.
So to sum up, you need to be a little more that just a web designer! You
also need to understand and create the best way to display our how to
order page using your experience of designing websites for the UK.
The page must be created using HTML and CSS meaning most (if not all)
the text must be part of the page and not just a banner or large image!
This should be a 100% webpage.
Any questions please do let us know, and we will look forward to
communicating with some great designers.
