Project Description:
I would like to build a prototype iOS app for the iPad. This is to provide a menu of events that people can read about via the app and then make a call to a customer service rep to book an event. The menu will be three layers deep:
1) List of types of activities
2) List of specific activities within the type
3) Details about the specific activity
Associated with every page in the menu will be a button whereby the user can push the button and connect in to a phone bank where I have operators to answer the phone and help book the activities. I would like the app to have both audio and video capabilities. If someone can do "audio only" for a much lower rate, they are welcome to make that bid and be explicit that it is an "audio only" bid (or they can make two successive bids - one audio only and one with both audio and video).
I will expect that the "look and feel" of the app will be iOS quality. This means that we expect rich graphics and use of iOS features throughout the simple menu structure.
Please note: there is potentially much more work to the winner of this project. Once we get a working prototype, we will want to build up the menu functionality, have it tie into a database so we can easily update the features, numbers of activities, descriptions, prices, etc. We will also want to build an e-commerce engine so people can buy tickets directly if they so choose.
