We need to develop an application that will work on IPhone and Android platform. If the user sees any occurrence of Screw Worm or Palm Insect (these are farm pests) or any other incident (like accident, water pipe burst etc.) at any location, he will
• Start the IPhone/Android application
• After application starts, a button “TAKE PICTURE†appears which will take the picture of incident.
• After taking the picture, a text box appears allowing the user to write the description about the incident in text box.
• After that selection box will appear to choose the category (eg. Screw Worm, Palm insect, Accident etc.)
• Application will automatically gather the geographic coordinates of the location using the GPS capability of the device and save all the information (Photo, text, category and coordinates).
• After gathering these four types of information, a button “SAVE†will appear.
• After saving this information another button “SEND†will appear with which the user can send the information directly to the concerned department website if he has access to internet.
• If the phone is not connected to internet, the user whenever connects to internet will open the application, and should be able to open this saved incident and click “SEND†to submit the information to the concerned department website.
