Project Description:
I need an illustration of a monkey for a children's book. The book contains true stories about a women living on the East African coast in the 1950's and her pet vervet monkey.
I need a simple, black and white, realistic line drawing of the monkey. The sketch needs to look like a 'vervet' monkey rather than the generic children's cartoon monkey. If you google images of 'vervet monkey' you can see what this type of monkey looks like.
The monkey is climbing the trunk of a palm tree. The book size will be around 150 mm x 150 mm and the drawing needs to be able to be scaled to 150mm high.
Note: there are 10 stories in the book. Once I find a style and illustrator I'm happy with I'll request drawings for the other 9 stories.
