Project Description:
I am wanting an artist to draw my 70-75 page graphic novel. I am going to supply the outline for each page, including a "rough" drawing of each scene in each frame on every page. So that you can get a real idea of what is going on in the story. I will also include the complete detailed story/information plus the dialogue, and anything else you might need in drawing the art.
I am just wanting a black & white version of the final copy completed, so you will not have to worry about coloring. I am wanting the art to be drawn with pencil and paper, but am open to other formats as well, such as it being drawn on a computer platform. If it is going to be drawn on the computer, I would like to know what programs you will be using.
I have included a list of files of a style of art that I like. I understand that even the right candidate might not be able to replicate the examples that are included, and I wouldn't want them to. I have them for you to try and picture the "style" or feel that I am trying to go for here. I am very open to ideas and styles, and want the individual to be able to use their own style in this project, but maybe these examples will help you with the bigger picture.
Most of the included files are from "The X-files" comic book. I included this because I like the art work, and the genre of my graphic novel is very similar.
