Creative office interior design

Project Description:
We are a new company set up in China, ShaoXing, looking for interior designer to work for the whole office space.
Please PM your portfolio.
We perfer to work with foreign designers located nearby ShaoXing or Hangzhou, easier to go on site.


Concept
Generally we are looking for simple but innovative design style, it can be a mixture of culture. The color can’t be too heavy and the structure should be strong since we prefer a livable working space rather than art installation. At details it should be smart, sometimes don't need to be expensive, especially on materials, but overall feeling should be unique

A creative company focus at cartoon animation, interactive media, and new media technology.



Current status

The whole office space is 890 sqm.


Originally it is 5 m in height, right now the ceiling is covered by office roof, so the height is only 3 m. If budget permits, We could still remove the current ceiling, then it has potential to be a loft.


The whole space has two entrances, one besides the elevator, another face towards a spin ladder. The second one could consider as the main entrance.
Currently there is a private restroom, simple decoration.

Staff capacity:
There will be 30 staffs working in this space

Region separation
Everyone should be able to have 4 working hours stay away from mobile, which could help optimize efficiency.

Meeting room X3
2 for staff internal meeting or regular activities,
1.In one of these 2, I'll prefer standing mode meeting room: There won’t be any seats in the meeting room, if people want to run the discussion, they have to keep on standing. By research it’s a good way to speed up the process of making decision.
2.Private room for formal meeting like business presentation

Entertainment space X1
Entertainment space: Space for staff to relax and enjoy after work. We’ll place some adult toys, like snooker, darts, sand bag, table tennis, this place could looks more dynamic and friendly than other places.

Working space
Modern furniture design, with connective structure around working space. Can afford 30 staffs work together.

Restroom
Need to re-design the restroom to make it looks friendly.


Schedule
Design should be able to be done by end of March,2012
Phase 1 Decoration should close by end of May, 2012

Budget for decoration
Considering the cash flow, we plan to invest at decoration step by step,
The total budget will be maximum 180,000. At First year we’ll invest maximum 80,000 RMB, Second year 100,000. The budget includes all furniture except digital equipment like PC, TV, etc
So for the interior design, we’ll need to think a sustainable plan: it shouldn’t looks like a half-way job in the first 7 months till the end of 2012. But should be able to update in the next year.
