Project Description:
Last year our site traffic averaged 1500/day and this year it is 400/day !

We have changed our web server and ecommerce platform but have the same domain name. We had ASPDNSF running on a windows server from 2009- Dec 2012 with some great google ranking. We Launched the Magento CE 1.7.x site on a new Linux Ubuntu server pre-populated with the 200,000 products and 4000 categories on 01/Dec/2012 and moved the DNS.

I need an expert in site moves to help get the google traffic back. I can see in analytics that the old URLs are still incomming (ending in ASPX) and this will create 404 errors. I understand the solution for this issue is to create 303 redirects in apache for all the failed inbound URLs ending ASPX from the old windows ASP platform.

It is now 4 months from the platform change - does this cause any further issues ?

Magento is creating the google sitemap each night but because of the 200000 products and 4000 categories the XML file is 30,000kb and so we cant submit this to google. We need the sitemap splitting into maybe 7 files for manual submission or a better automated Magento solution.

once we deal with the 404 errors and sitemap submission i would like to take advice on 'white' SEO and possible marketing (no tricks, link buying or spamming)

Skills required:
Apache, Google Analytics, Internet Marketing, Linux, SEO
