Project Description:
We have the same website running under two different domains:
.com
.biz
When a user searches for on google, bing, or yahoo, we want the top search result to be .biz.
To do that, we've added this tag into the of each of our webpages:
This works fine for google. It now lists .biz as the top search result.
However, bing and yahoo still list .com. We made this change many months ago, so this isn't a matter of simply waiting longer until yahoo/bing have noticed the tag.
Your deliverable for this project: tell us exactly what to do to have yahoo and bing show our .biz domain instead of .com.
The solution you present must be related only to the tags we put in our source code. Changing the htaccess file or manually blocking indexing within the webmaster tools is not an option.
