Summary
A pretty easy pilot project, to get a single keyword phrase ranking in the top 5 quickly. Much of the groundwork has been done and the pages are already ranking on page 2 and 3 for this keyword. Get a result on this keyword and I have another 100+ to work on.

Pilot Project Objective:
1) Rank in the top 5 of Google Global and UK for a single keyword phrase.
2) Establish communication and reporting methods that suit both of us.
3) Convince me that you and I can work together for the long haul.
4) Time scale - Normally I would allow three months to rank for a keyword however this work has been underway for some time, so you should be able to achieve a top 5 listing much faster than three months. As soon as we see a significant result then you will be appointed and we will start on each of our many keywords. I want to appoint my new partner as soon as possible.

Background;
1) I have over 100 keywords to target but this project is for a single keyword phrase. At present this pilot project is restricted to just one keyword phrase.
2) At present the home page (PR 5) ranks 23 for the keyword.
3) There is also a keyword focused internal page (PR 4) which should be even easier to rank for this keyword. It is also ranking on page 2 or 3 of Google. Strategically I think it is better to have this internal page ranking for this specific keyword rather than the home page. The domain name does not include the keyword. The internal page does.
4) The average PR for the top 10 competitors is 4.4
5) The site is ten years old and has 387,255 backlinks pointing to it already.
6) This is not a new site and much of the ground work, onpage and offpage SEO work has been done already.
7) Perhaps only two or three of the top ten competitors are actively targeting this keyword. I have been very careful about which keywords I have selected, so although they are competitive, the competition isn’t that proactive. Most of the competitors are passive and have just been there for a long time.
8) Our company has been going for over ten years and we are in this for the long haul. We are looking for a partner who can work with us for the long haul too.

Please recommend another reliable rank report tool and it will be considered. As results vary a little from one system to another, it is important that we standardise.
