I want to migrate my existing website to a new server. We will need some troubleshooting work done too. Please provide a bid to troubleshoot and move my site and set it up on the new server to be %100 percent functioning correctly.
Our website allows users to upload there own music (or music videos) for everyone to listen or watch (streaming video or music), to rate, and to discuss in order help the band or musician get noticed. The website was created using JSP using the struts framework, java, mysql and some flash - we want bids only from companies with experience in these! Please also be experienced with, tomcat, fedora_core_4 operating system, and cpanel/WMH with fantastico.
The new server may or may not offer fedora core 4, or cpanel etc. Please be knowledgeable with compatibility issues and know what the site will or will not work with and what visions of software support each other.
Prior to the “move”€, however, we will need someone to troubleshoot the site. We have been getting a recurring error message every 4-6 weeks since the beginning of the sites history. In addition various email related features of the website are not functioning.
The site is www.RateThisTune.com, go to it and notice the “ sorry! no tunes available”€ error message we get.
Our original coder has not been helpful and has not been able to provide us with up to date and complete Java source code files to help us fix this. We now only have a copy of the outdated incomplete files aside from what is currently on the server, which we think is complete, however we don’t know how to access them. We need someone to try to reverse engineer and fix the site of these errors/bugs and all the other malfunctioning elements of the site. we want to either recover the missing source code or rewrite it. The site is 95% ok but the last 5% is what's needed.
We want someone who can clean up, organizing, optimize the site , and refactor the application.
Also - the question is if reversed files will be as good as the source files? How much will you charge to change all the paths? And of course finally move it to a different host and set it up to work 100%.
--see attach file with list of all the compiled .class files which are missing .java files.(remember also that some of the .java files which we do have are outdated or incomplete and need fixing)
