I originally wrote this app for Bat Conservation Ireland, an organisation that monitors bat populations via car surveys. Volunteers drive along pre-defined routes at specified times of the year with a bat detector (a device that transforms bats' ultrasonic sonar into human-audible sounds) plugged into a recording device. The recordings are later analysed to determine which species are present, and the species records undergo statistical processing to determine whether populations are rising, falling, or stable.
This app allows an android phone to be used as the recording device. The volunteer enters a 3-character code at the beginning of their transect, and the device records both the audio from the bat detector (to a .wav file) and its own position (to a .csv file).

The job is as follows:
1. fix issue #2 here https://github.com/cormacparle/audioAndLocationRecorder/issues and submit the solution as a pull request, or, if the solution looks like it will take more than 1 or 2 hours, explain to me what the problem is and wait for further instructions
2. to propose a solution for #5 - do not write any code, I just want ideas for how to make the user experience better
This job is deliberately small to begin with. If the coder does a good job I will hire him/her to implement fixes for the other issues listed on the github page
