Project Description:
This is a relatively simple project for someone experienced in computer programming.

The idea of this project is to use computer programming to take an image and use python to turn that into a pixel-dot-matrix.

I think the simplest thing to do is that we take a jpeg. or png image, just as long as it is black and white, use python to turn that into a pixel-dot-matrix, then break it up into a series of numbers in a text file. drag and drop text file into the arduino editor. Add a zeroing clause, and a finished do-not-restart clause. and then the programming is sufficient. there might be better ways that use g-code or something else like that but I do not know how to use them. Basically use the python for turning the image into a pile of numbers and then just turn those numbers (or lines of numbers) into the motor commands and laser commands.

There are two motors used (one for x-direction motion and one for y-direction motion)

The motors used are "NEMA size 17 1.8° 2-phase stepper motor."

The motors will be used to control a laser to "Draw" the image on top of the surface.
