• Experienced in estimating effort and elapsed time required to complete project deliverables.
• Provide feedback on business requirements documentation to ensure resolution of any apparent ambiguity or
contradictions.
• Perform Functional Breakdown, Design, Programming, testing to support the business requirements.
• Perform impact analysis for design modification and obtain signoff from the Architecture Team.
• Developing and documenting workload estimates (ie: Creation of workload breakdown plan to define and track
software development efforts for your own efforts)
• Developing and delivering functionality within these estimated effort and time frames
Specific tech skills essential for completing the assignment
• Mastery of Java - Multithreading, Collections and Exception handling
• Knowledge of J2EE servlet API
• Demonstrated experience in building web based java applications
• Knowledge of Spring framework and the following concepts is a must
o IOC
o Transaction management
o Hibernate or Spring JDBC
o Spring Batch
• Should be aware of best practices around programming and version control
• Superb written & verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience working in an agency environment and managing a team
