Project Description:
We require an android developer to build a phonegap plugin that can collect and transmit GPS data as a background process.
Plugin must be based upon the framework below.

Functionality:-
The plugin must collect locational data, using either gps or cell towers depending on whether gps is enabled.
The plugin must transmit the current location and the device UUID via HTTP post to a predetermined URL on a regular cycle.
The URL and interval between transmissions must be easily configurable via variables in the plugin.
Even when the app is closed, the data must continue transmitting.
The background service does not need to interact directly with the phonegap app, it just needs to be included as part of the app and transmit location data in the background.
Requirements:-
Full phonegap plugin including all android/java/javascript files, ready to drop into an existing phonegap app.
Full instructions and support in getting the plugin working with the app.
Compatible with the latest version of cordova/phonegap
Compatible with all version of android from 2.2+
