We have a jnlp program which is used for 'heads up' keying. A screen is presented to a user and it has an application form image with an overlay of input boxes that are used for manually keying the data from the application form. The positioning of the input boxes is driven by the xml template, with the template containing various attributes for each input, such as x/y coordinates.
We want to move this jnlp system over to a browser based web app. A key component of this is to take the current template and generate an xsl transformation which will create the html for viewing on a web browser. The layout can also be performed using jquery or similar on the frontend if a developer sees benefit in that.
A full specification of the xml will be provided as well as examples of layout of the existing system is attached to this project.
