For the most part I want a social networking site clone (i.e. myspace, facebook, etc.). I want this site to be a social networking site for music producers, where they can sign up, create an account and upload their music, pictures, while having the power to alter their personal pages, as with myspace. I would like a forum area. Rating features for the music on peoples pages, hit/page views tracker. An "online" notifier. A way to message registered/logged-in users. Add/delete/search users function. An area to post events, jobs, things music related. A news section. Like I said a clone of Myspace, the Music part of it to be specific, just this site would be strictly for music producers to network and obviously the general public or artists could search through dfferent profiles and create accounts if need be. It would need to be a scalable website with an extremely high emphasis on proper functionality and a lower one on the actual design of the site. I would like to see bidders with experience in similar sites or at least the true capability to deliver such a site. I assume that since there are millions of social networking sites out there that this should not be difficult to do as I am not asking for anything new, just an old idea with a different layout. With that said, I don't know what something like this would cost but imagine it should be affordable due to the fact it's more copying compuer language formats that are constantly being used than actually creadting new code.
